Woodland Advisor is offered through a partnership among a number of different organizations:

The University of Minnesota Extension Service
Extension educators and / or campus Extension specialists are involved in most Woodland Advisor classes as organizer, instructor, or both. If you'd like to request a class on a specific topic in your area, feel free to contact one of us:

The Minnesota Forestry Association
MFA serves Minnesota's woodland owners by promoting stewardship of all forest resources. MFA is Minnesota's oldest conservation organization, founded in 1876 to promote wise stewardship of forest lands. MFA is an important partner in the Woodland Advisor program. To learn more about MFA, visit them online at http://www.mnforest.com/, email information@mnforest.com, or call 800-821-TREE (8733).

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
Through the Minnesota Forest Stewardship Program, DNR provides financial support that makes Woodland Advisor classes possible. DNR foresters and other natural resource professionals sometimes instruct at classes as well. To learn more about the Minnesota DNR, visit their website at http://www.dnr.state.mn.us.

Local private woodland committees
Most local woodland committees are chapters of MFA. These committees play a crucial role in the Woodland Advisor program by identifying local information needs, finding excellent local instructors, and helping to plan classes. To see a list of private woodland committees and contact the one nearest you, email information@mnforest.com or call 800-821-TREE (8733).
