The Cloquet Forestry Center is the natural setting for your next business or educational event. Our classroom and meeting room configurations give you maximum flexibility for groups ranging from 2 to 140 people. Each room is designed with solid wall construction and contains a whiteboard or chalkboard, pull-down screen, and a high-speed internet connection. The Center also has a variety of Audio/Visual equipment available to enhance your meeting at no additional cost. Our professional staff can answer questions and assist you with every detail of your meeting room and technology needs.

Meeting & Classrooms

Auditorium:

(50' x 60') Designed to serve larger meetings, workshops and conferences. The auditorium has tiered seating with 16 fixed tables and 98 fixed chairs and 10 movable tables and 42 movable chairs accommodating up to 140 people. The specialized lighting and acoustics, hard-wired podium microphone or wireless lapel microphone, and an oversized video screen make this an ideal location for professional presentations and trainings. Cost: $85 (Half Day) / $140 (Full Day). Auditorium

Stine Conference Room:

Large (27' x 45') room.  Enjoy this new classroom designed for groups up to 45 people. Furnished with comfortable, ergonomically designed chairs and 6 ft. movable tables for easy custom classroom arrangement.  Three large windows provide ample natural light to the room which can be easily darkened utilizing opaque window shades. Cost $100 per day.

Classroom:

(30' x 75') Utilize the entire 2,250 sq. ft. for groups as large as 80 people or use the built-in dividers to make three separate rooms for smaller group trainings or breakout sessions. This versatile room is furnished with movable tables and classroom style chairs. The tiled floor makes it ideal for hands-on activities or can be substituted as a cafeteria. Large windows on the East and West side allow natural light to enter the room or can be shaded with the blinds. A large pull-down screen is located on the center wall and a chalkboard for each section of the room. Cost: $85 per day. Classroom

Meeting Room:

(19' x 27') Perfect for smaller group meetings or as a breakout room. This room is furnished with 20 comfortable, ergonomically designed conference chairs and several movable tables for maximum flexibility. Small upper windows on the west side allow natural light into the room. Cost: $75 per day.

Library:

(30' x 42') Enjoy the picturesque view of tall pines nestled around the windows of this versatile conference room. Furnished with 30 comfortable, ergonomically designed chairs and movable tables provides optimal room layout options. Cost: $100 per day. Library

Computer Lab:

(30' x 36') Train your entire staff at the same time by utilizing our 24 station computer lab offering high-speed internet. Each unit is loaded with Office XP software. A large overhead screen allows your trainees to follow you step-by-step. Contact us for additional software options. Cost: $85 per day.Computer Lab

Alumni Pavilion:

(28' x 50') Let nature surround you while using our open-air pavilion built from red pine trees grown at the Center. This rustic meeting space has a concrete floor and picnic tables, making it ideal for an outdoor classroom activity or to simply enjoy a meal together. Our Alumni Pavilion will accommodate up to 90 people. Cost: $50 per day.

Dining Hall:

(30' x 60') Enjoy casual dining and a meeting space all in one. The dining hall is located next to our meeting facilities, offering a short, refreshing walk outdoors. It is furnished with moveable tables and chairs for maximum flexibility and accommodates up to 100 people. You have the option to rent the dining hall alone, use it only for your group’s meals, or both. Cost: $55 per day. (No charge if utilizing a meeting room at the Center and using the dining hall and the on-site caterer to serve your meal).Dining Hall

Lodging:

Consider staying at the Cloquet Forestry Center for your next early morning meeting or multiple day training. We offer single and double occupancy dorm-style rooms with private baths in a beautiful northwoods setting. Kitchen facilities are available within each lodging unit. Cost: Single - $40 / per person per night, Double occupancy - $60/ per night (includes linens). All lodging is subject to 6.875% tax. No pets allowed. Call for room availability.

Complete food service is available.Complete food service is available through Jim N Jo’s Katering, conveniently located at the Cloquet Forestry Center. Whether your group of 5 requires refreshments for an early morning meeting, or your group of 70 uses the Center for a three-day training, Jim N Jo’s has options to meet all your food service needs.
