Head Administrator for the Cloquet Forestry Center. Oversees Center budgetary, facility maintenance, facility use and personnel matters. Directs forest management operations and coordinates research activities on University forest lands.

Research Fellow with the Department of Forest Resources. The Minnesota Tree Improvement Cooperative (MTIC) focuses on the genetic improvement of five native conifers: black spruce, white spruce, red pine, jack pine, and white pine. Membership in the Co-op includes public agencies, tribal forestry, and private corporations (paper and timber companies) from across the lake states.

Manages the Sustainable Forests Education Cooperative. This program serves natural resource managers who work in forest land. SFEC has members from tribal, industry, county, state, and federal forest land owners, environmental organizations, and private consulting foresters. SFEC events are open to cooperative and non-cooperative individuals seeking natural resource continuing education.
